Please allow me to introduce myself: My name is Michael Walchhofer, I am the 2003 downhill world champion from St. Moritz and two-time winner of the Downhill World Cup.  I owe so much to sports, but I am well aware that my success was only made possible through the support of a wonderful family.

They and the community of Altenmarkt-Zauchensee are the focal point of my life. And together with my wife, Barbara, I am continuing a tradition which, thanks to my parents Rupert and Maria, I was able to grow up in. Our pride and joy today are our own children, Hannah and twins Patrick and Mathias.

Together with my brother Rupert and his family, we now want to give you an opportunity to experience for yourself what it is like to stay at an establishment with a true family atmosphere - right here at the Hotel Zauchensee Zentral.
