“Cuvée Downhill” from the Ski World Champion and the vinyard Pimpel in Göttelsbrunn

Inspired by his many sporting successes Michael Walchhofers and the vinyard Gerhard Pimpel in Göttlesbrunn have joined up to create a red wine cuvée with the impressive name “Cuvée Downhill 04”. The composition of Merlot and Blauer Zweigelt comes from the wine-growing area Carnuntum in Lower Austria. This successful co-operation has continued over the years. The cuvées “Downhill 09” and “Downhill 11” were awarded 93 Falstaff points and thus count amongst the best red wines in Austria.
